Introduction
Born to unassuming, full citizen parents in the Farreach Sector of the Alfadorian Star Empire, Mathilde had a comfortable and easy life growing up. While she was never the smartest, strongest, or toughest person around, she always proved reliable, resourceful, and resilient. She elected to attend Aptitude Assessment at the age of 16 and was determined to have insignificant psionic capabilities, extremely high loyalty and adaptability, and a robust genetic profile which enabled her to enlist in the prestigious Chimera Legion Marines as a rifleman. Throughout her career she attained decorations, accolades, and valuable experience that earned her a promotion to commissioned officer, she screened for and was selected to join the elite Gryphon Legion Marines where she reclassified as a combat drop-ship pilot, and enjoyed further career accolades.
When Mathilde retired from the Marines, she was still a young 52 years old and was seen as an Alfadorian hero due to her contributions in ending the Farreach / Ionan Border War of 11039.
