Background

A nearly godlike figure in the Alfadorian public eye, the mysterious and reclusive Lord Sabbathius Belmont is the Sector Governor of New Romalia. He is the oldest known living person, being one of the first powerful psions ever born. He holds a significant place in the Revalations of Silver state religion of Alfador even though he emphatically denies any involvement. He, much like Empress Serena Alfon whom he trained in psionics, is content to focus on growing his power. He rules his sector with a very light touch, preferring to allow his elected officials make most of the decisions, intervening only when it is neccesary.

The black hole Dark Ambition, also often called Sabbathius' Ambition, was at one point a pair of unstably orbiting neutron stars that were forced to fuse under his psionic might.
